The Orchestra of St. Luke’s in New York City has announced a two-year extension of PABLO HERAS-CASADO’s contract as principal conductor. He has held that post since 2011, and the new agreement extends his tenure through September 2017. In each of the next three seasons Heras-Casado will lead two concerts in OSL’s Carnegie Hall series. Heras-Casado and the orchestra will also record a CD for the Harmonia Mundi label featuring two Tchaikovsky works, the Symphony No. 1 (“Winter Dreams”) and The Tempest.
