At the Vancouver (British Columbia) Symphony Orchestra, JOCELYN MORLOCK has been named to a two-year term as composer-in-residence, effective September 1, 2014; she succeeds EDWARD TOP, who has held the post for three years. The VSO has also announced the appointment of MARCUS GODDARD to the newly created post of composer-in-association, and the promotion of GORDON GERRARD from assistant conductor to associate conductor.
