The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra has appointed CLAIRE BRAZEAU second oboe beginning with the 2014-15 season. She has served as principal oboe in LA’s Young Musicians Foundation Debut Orchestra, and has performed with the Pasadena, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles Jewish symphonies, Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, Long Beach Opera, Los Angeles Bach Festival, American Youth Orchestra, and the Lucerne Festival Academy in Switzerland. Brazeau received an Artist Diploma from The Colburn School in May 2014. Prior to that she attended Bard College and Conservatory, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in East Asian Studies, piano performance, and oboe performance.
