Boston’s Longwood Symphony Orchestra, an ensemble consisting largely of doctors and other healthcare professionals and students, has appointed NICK ADAMS executive director. He served most recently at the Nashua-based Symphony New Hampshire, where he spent seven years as director of operations. Prior to that Adams was a member of the United States Air Force’s Heartland of America Band, where he played trombone and filled the role of operations manager. He currently serves part-time in the Air National Guard as personnel manager for the 102th Intelligence Wing, headquartered on Cape Cod.
