BOB HATTON was elected to a two-year term as president of the Amarillo (Tex.) Symphony at its annual meeting in June. Formerly vice president of the orchestra, he is a retired business executive who held various positions in the finance departments of Bell Telephone Company and AT&T and worked as an independent business consultant following his retirement from the latter in 1999. Hatton’s civic activities have included service as president of Amarillo Botanical Gardens and as a committee member of the Amarillo Area Foundation and the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum.
