The Fort Bend (Tex.) Symphony Orchestra has announced the appointment of DOMINIQUE RØYEM as music director. Previously the orchestra’s assistant conductor, she has guest conducted in the Fort Bend area at such venues as the Masquerade Theatre, Sugarland Opera, and Houston High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She holds a DMA from the University of Houston, where she served as assistant conductor of the Moores Opera Center.
