The Vermont Symphony Orchestra, headquartered in Burlington, has appointed KAREN PAQUIN development director. She was most recently with the Jera Institute, a Montreal-based business consulting company, and has also consulted in the development area with several nonprofit organizations. Paquin holds a master’s degree in geography, planning and environment from Concordia University in Montreal and a bachelor’s in geography and environmental studies from UCLA.
