The Cincinnati May Festival and University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music have announced the appointment of DANIEL C. BLOSSER as 2014-15 May Festival Choral Conducting Fellow. The fellowship, created in 2013 through a collaboration between the festival and the college-conservatory, allows a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate in the Choral Conducting Studies Program to serve as assistant conductor of the May Festival Chorus. Blosser is currently in his first year of the DMA program. He holds a master’s degree in choral conducting from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Indianapolis.
