The Amarillo (Tex.) Symphony has announced several new conductors for its youth orchestra program. DANICA AHEDO, director of orchestral activities at Amarillo’s Caprock High School, will direct Amarillo Youth Preparatory Strings. FABIAN SALDAÑA has been named conductor of the Youth Philharmonic. NICK LOPEZ will conduct the Amarillo Youth Symphony. All three are graduates of Texas Tech University.
