ALEXANDRA DAY has been named director of communications and marketing strategy at The Juilliard School in New York City. Most recently director of public relations at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, she has worked at a variety of organizations in the U.S., Paris, and London including the International Herald Tribune, IMG Artists, Universal Music, and the Metropolitan Opera, and she was also director of communications and business development for soprano Renée Fleming. Day holds a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature from Princeton University.
