The Buffalo Philharmonic has announced that it will perform with the Alan Parsons Live Project for its January 30 concert at Kleinhans Music Hall, as part of the orchestra’s BPO Rocks series. The concert will feature Parsons, on acoustic guitar, keyboards, and vocals, together with the orchestra. The Alan Parsons Project, the 1975-90 progressive rock band led by Parsons and Eric Woolfson, produced songs including “Sirius” and “Eye in the Sky.” Also featured in the 2014-15 BPO Rocks series—separate from the orchestra’s pops series—will be music of Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, and Blood Sweat and Tears.
