TRACEY SCHEER has been elected president of the New Haven (Conn.) Symphony Orchestra for the 2014-15 season. A member of the NHSO board since 2007, including service as secretary, vice president, and chair of various committees, she is a partner at Scheer & Company in New Haven and was formerly a corporate investment banker at Lehman Brothers. In the nonprofit realm she has served as president of Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital and the Brown Club of Greater New Haven, and as a board member of such organizations as the Women and Family Life Center (Guilford, Conn.) and the Parenting Programs at Yale-New Haven Medical Center.
