The Board of Directors of California’s Long Beach Symphony Orchestra has renewed the contract of Executive Director KELLY RUGGIRELLO through the 2016-17 season. Ruggirello’s accomplishments during her eighteen-month tenure include ending this past fiscal year with a surplus, the orchestra’s first in more than a decade; negotiating a new two-year collective bargaining agreement with the local musicians’ union; and assembling a strong administrative team.
