JEFF WHITSETT has been named orchestra personnel manager and librarian at the Winston-Salem (N.C.) Symphony. He has spent more than 24 years in the print music industry, working with publishers, composers, arrangers, conductors, educators, and performing musicians. Whitsett holds a Bachelor of Music degree in euphonium from England Conservatory, a teaching certificate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a diploma in recording engineering from the Recording Workshop (Chillicothe, Ohio). He has performed on numerous occasions with the Winston-Salem, Greensboro (N.C.), and North Carolina symphonies, and is a charter member of the Piedmont Wind Symphony, where he currently serves as principal euphonium and associate conductor.
