Arts Consulting Group Inc. has announced the appointment of DALE C. HEDDING as vice president. He will be based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Hedding goes to ACG from the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, where he had served as vice president of development since 2007. Before joining the BSO he spent four years as director of development and volunteer activities at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and had previously directed corporate foundation and government grant programs at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Early in his career Hedding was a professional musician, serving for four years as principal trombone in the U.S. Air Force Band of New England. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and an MBA in arts administration from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
