Jacksonville, Florida’s First Wednesday Art Walk on November 5 will feature two free performances in Hemming Park by the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. The concerts represent the first time the entire Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra has performed an outdoor concert at the monthly city event. Michelle Merrill will lead the full orchestra in a 45-minute program including music by Mozart, John Williams, and Leonard Bernstein, to be performed at 6:30 pm and 8 pm. Also participating will be musicians from the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra and its Jump Start Strings students, as well as students from the Cathedral Arts Project, Jacksonville Heights Elementary School, and TheatreJax.
