On Friday (11/7), CBS Los Angeles television station KCAL9 broadcast a feature in which newscaster Josh Rubenstein interviews Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra Executive Director Rachel Fine. The segment features a live in-studio interview with Fine, who discusses commissioning and presenting new music, the benefits of performing in a range of venues through Southern California, the involvement of Music Director Jeffrey Kahane as conductor and pianist, LACO’s concerts on Nov. 15 and 16, and shifts in the classical music scene. The six-minute segment also includes performance footage of the orchestra.
