Daniels and Provost Robert Lieberman introduced the event, with Peabody Institute Dean Fred Bronstein moderating a panel that included Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Music Director Marin Alsop; Ben Cameron, director for arts funding at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation; Thomas Dolby, Homewood Professor of the Arts at Johns Hopkins University; flutist Marina Piccinini, a faculty artist at Peabody; and Jesse Rosen, president and CEO of the League of American Orchestras.
