Several personnel changes have been announced by the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, N.J. Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer BOBBIE ARBESFELD will retire June 30, 2015; she has held that post since 2008 and first joined the NJPAC senior staff in 1999. In her place, two veteran NJPAC executives will share the title of executive vice president effective January 1, 2015: DAVID RODRIGUEZ as executive vice president and executive producer, and WARREN TRANQUADA as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Also announced was the appointment of DEBRA KINZLER as assistant vice president, communications. Kinzler goes to NJPAC from Manhattan School of Music, where she had served as director of communications for 21 years. Prior to that, she spent eight years in the Communications Office of The Juilliard School. She holds a master’s degree in clarinet performance from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in music with an education minor from the University of North Dakota. In addition to her new job at NJPAC, Kinzler is a consultant to the New York-based Walter W. Naumburg Foundation, presenter of the annual Walter W. Naumburg International Competition for soloists.
