Orpheus Chamber Orchestra in New York City has announced the election of RICHARD F. BRUECKNER as chairman of its Board of Trustees, succeeding MARC O. MAYER. Brueckner has served on the board since December 2012, and was previously finance chair and treasurer. With a background in finance, corporate project management, and marketing, he is currently chief of staff at BNY Mellon, the corporate brand of Bank of New York Mellon Corp. He had earlier served as CEO of Pershing LLC. Brueckner is a graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa.
