The Fort Collins (Colo.) Symphony has announced that CARRIE NEWMAN will step down as executive director at the end of January to take a position as business development director of a local moving company. She was named to the orchestra post in 2011 after working in the nonprofit field for fifteen years. During her tenure she has been instrumental in the success of the orchestra’s Outside the Box series, its program of free open rehearsals, and its educational concerts in the Poudre School District.
