The Cleveland Orchestra has appointed JUSTIN J. HOLDEN director of public relations. He was most recently senior account executive at Polskin Arts & Communications Counselors, a public relations firm based in New York City, where his clients included the New World Symphony, the National YoungArts Foundation, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Olivier Awards in London, and the Armory Show Art Fair. Prior to working at Polskin he held public relations posts at Carnegie Hall, the New York Philharmonic, the Kreisberg Group, and Boston’s WGBH TV & Radio. Holden holds a Bachelor of Music degree in clarinet performance from the School of Arts at Boston University and a Master of Science degree in arts administration from BU’s Metropolitan College.
