Applications are being accepted online through February 16 for Project Inclusion, a partnership between the Chicago Sinfonietta and Grant Park Music Festival that aims to increase diversity among orchestra ensembles and guide young musicians toward successful professional careers in music. Musicians must be enrolled in or a recent graduate of a college-level orchestral program. For the Chicago Sinfonietta, there are open positions for violists and cellists; for the Grant Park Music Festival, positions are available in violin, viola, and cello. The Chicago Sinfonietta Project Inclusion Orchestral Fellowship—which includes participation in the Project Inclusion Ensemble—takes place from September 2015-May 2016. The Grant Park Music Festival Project Inclusion Summer String Fellowship takes place from June 8-August 3, 2015.
