The Houston Symphony Orchestra has named ROBIN KESSELMAN principal bass. He has served as guest principal bass with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Atlanta, Baltimore, and National symphony orchestras. Kesselman was artist in residence at the Lake George (N.Y.) Music Festival in 2013; has appeared as soloist with the Elmhurst (Ill.) Symphony; and has collaborated with such ensembles as Brooklyn Rider. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Southern California and an artist diploma from the Curtis Institute of Music.
