The Atlantic Classical Orchestra (Fort Pierce, Fla.) has announced that Artistic Director and Conductor STEWART ROBERTSON has tendered his resignation from the ACO effective at the end of this season. He will also discontinue his worldwide conducting activities because of health complications associated with Parkinson’s disease. A native of Glasgow, Scotland, Robertson has led the ACO since 2004. The orchestra has formed a committee led by ACO Chairman Ed Lahey that will conduct a national search for his successor.
