DYLAN COMMERET has been named vice president of philanthropy at the North Carolina Symphony. He goes to the Raleigh-based orchestra from the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Ill., where during the past decade he has served in positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as associate director of development for major gifts. Commeret holds a bachelor’s degree in music from Colby College (Waterville, Me.), and also studied at the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France, with a concentration in music and French history.
