The New Bedford (Mass.) Symphony Orchestra has announced that Music Director DAVID MACKENZIE will retire at the end of the 2015-16 season, his tenth as music director and the centennial season of the orchestra. The NBSO is launching a national search for his successor, and hopes to have a new music director in place by September 2017.
