Oklahoma’s Tulsa Community College has announced the appointment of ANDRÉS FRANCO as artistic director and conductor of the Signature Symphony, the college’s professional ensemble in residence. A native of Colombia, Franco has served for three seasons as artistic director of the Fort Worth (Tex.) Symphony Orchestra’s Concerts in the Garden Summer Festival, and for five seasons as principal conductor of Caminos del Inka, a multimedia project showcasing the music and culture of countries along the Inca Trail in South America.
