The Houston Symphony has announced the appointment of VICKY DOMINGUEZ as general manager, effective May 18. For the past seven years she has served as operations manager at the Boston Symphony Orchestra. From 2006 to 2008 Dominguez worked at the Houston Symphony as director of operations, and had earlier been operations manager for Dallas Winds and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music with a minor in management from the University of Houston, and an MBA and a master’s degree in arts administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
