Sciolino Artist Management in New York City has announced the appointment of DEBRA KINZLER as managing director of public relations and artist management. She served most recently as assistant vice president of communications at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. Kinzler previously spent 21 years at Manhattan School of Music as director of public relations, marketing, and publications, and worked as a freelance publicist in the classical music field. She began her career as a publicist in the Communications Office of the Juilliard School. In addition to her new post at Sciolino Artist Management, Kinzler continues to serve as associate director of the New York-based Walter W. Naumburg Foundation. A native of Grand Forks, N.D., she holds a master’s degree in clarinet performance from Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s in clarinet performance with a minor in education from the University of North Dakota.
