Iowa’s Des Moines Symphony & Academy has announced the appointment of DUSTIN R. ROSS as director of development. He was most recently senior director of alumni engagement and annual giving at Cornell College. Prior to that he worked at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, overseeing its direct-marketing annual giving programs. An Iowa native, Ross holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Luther College and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
