San Diego Symphony CEO Martha Gilmer has announced the appointment of TODD SCHULTZ to the newly created post of vice president of institutional advancement, effective June 23. Since 2004 Schultz has served as director of development for the San Diego theater company Old Globe, and prior to that held posts in marketing, public relations, and sales at the Atlanta Opera, San Diego Opera, and Los Angeles Opera.
