The National Endowment for the Arts and the National Center for Creative Aging will host a live webcast of a public forum on the arts and aging being held on May 18 in Washington, D.C. At the summit, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners will look at ways the arts can enhances the lives of older Americans. The webcast will be available at arts.gov on May 18 from 9am to 5:30pm (ET). More information is available at arts.gov. The summit is part of a series of public forums which will produce recommendations to a White House conference on four major issues: retirement security, long-term services and supports, healthy aging, and elder abuse. The NEA/NCCA summit recommendations will inform the healthy-aging category.
