“Members of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra are asking for help Sunday night in locating a fellow musician. Steven Brubaker was last seen Thursday May 28 around his home, which is near the intersection of Grant and Alvernon, according to TSO Operations Manager Ben Nisbet,” write Colton Shone and Craig Reck in Sunday’s (5/31) Tucson News Now (Arizona). “Nisbet said Brubaker has missed several commitments, so family filed a report with Tucson Police on Friday. Both car and cello are still at his home, according to Nisbet. Brubaker missed a rehearsal and a performance over the weekend, according to Nisbet. He said it’s unlike Brubaker to miss so much without given any notice. ‘The whole situation is actually very, very unnerving and upsetting,’ said Nisbet. ‘We’re hoping that somebody might have some information to help us understand what’s going on.’ ” Anyone who has seen Steven Brubaker or has information about him is asked to call the Tucson Police at 520-791-4444.
