The Orchestra of St. Luke’s in New York City has announced the appointments of GARY PADMORE as director of education and community, and JULIA GANG as graphic designer/media production manager.
Gary Padmore goes to OSL from Midori & Friends, where he served as associate director of programs. He previously worked in the Brooklyn Philharmonic’s education department and as an adjunct lecturer at Queens College. Trained in trumpet, he holds a bachelor’s degree in music and an advanced certificate in music education from Queens College, as well as a master’s degree from New York’s Mannes College the New School for Music.
Julia Gang has served as a designer at the book publishers HarperCollins, Random House, and Umbrage Editions. She studied oboe and earned a bachelor’s degree in music from Northwestern University while concurrently taking coursework in art and design.
