Two appointments have been announced by the Detroit-Based Sphinx Organization: ROBYNN JAMES to the new post of senior advisor to the president on leadership gifts, and LAUREN McNEARY as manager of institutional partnerships.
Robynn James has more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and management, including posts with Compassion & Choices, an organization that advocates for the rights of the terminally ill; the American Board of Addiction Medicine Foundation; and the Sierra Madre Alliance. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northern Michigan University and a master’s degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Creighton University College of Law.
Lauren McNeary has worked in grants management and capacity building for a variety of youth-development and health organizations, and writes a personal blog on Detroit style called The Urban Report. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Detroit Mercy.
