The Virginia Symphony Orchestra, based in Hampton Roads, has announced the election of STEPHEN TEST as chair, effective July 1. He joined the orchestra’s board in 2009, and served as vice chair during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons. Test has worked as a trial attorney in Virginia since 1979, with a practice specializing in construction and business litigation. In addition to the Virginia Symphony, he serves on the board of the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival; past board affiliations include the Virginia Stage Company (Norfolk) and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Virginia Beach.
