Ohio’s Youngstown Symphony Orchestra has appointed RACHEL STEGEMAN concertmaster. She also serves as concertmaster of the Wheeling (W.V.) Symphony Orchestra, holds associate concertmaster posts at the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra and Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra, and is an adjunct faculty member in the Mary Pappert School of Music of Pittsburgh’s Duquesne University. Stegeman has recorded extensively as a Hollywood studio musician, and has served as assistant concertmaster with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in violin performance from Duquesne University.
