TOBY BLUMENTHAL, currently director of rentals and presentations for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, has been named vice president for artistic planning and innovation at Philadelphia’s Mann Center for the Performing Arts, effective in September. In addition to his work for the Baltimore Symphony, his background includes positions with Baltimore’s France-Merrick Performing Arts Center at the Hippodrome Theatre and with Clear Channel Entertainment.
