The Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) at Roosevelt University has announced the appointment of five senior executives from performing-arts institutions as adjunct faculty members in its Master of Arts in Performing Arts Administration program: AFA DWORKIN, president and artistic director of the Detroit-based Sphinx Organization; KEVIN GIGLINTO, vice president for strategy and special initiatives at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra; VANESSA MOSS, vice president of orchestra and building operations for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra; DAVID SNEAD, vice president of marketing, brand and customer experience at the New York Philharmonic; and BILL THOMAS, chief operating officer of the New York Philharmonic. Taught online and during summer sessions at Roosevelt University in Chicago, the Master of Arts in Performing Arts Administration program was started by CCPA Dean Henry Fogel, former president of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the League of American Orchestras. Co-leader of the program, which recently graduated its inaugural class of students, is Ralph Craviso, a behavioral and human resources professional who has worked in senior executive positions and as a consultant for performing arts organizations nationwide.
