VINAY PARAMESWARAN has been named to a three-year term as associate conductor of the Nashville Symphony, after serving as that orchestra’s assistant conductor since early 2014. A native of the San Francisco Bay area, he holds a bachelor’s degree in music and political science from Brown University and a diploma in conducting from the Curtis Institute of Music. Parameswaran received further training under Marin Alsop and Gustav Meier in the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music Conductors Workshop.
