DEVIN McGRANAHAN has been elected chair of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Board of Trustees, effective September 21, 2015. He succeeds RICHARD P. SIMMONS, who has chaired the PSO board since 1989 and will assume the title of Board Chair Emeritus. McGranahan is a director of McKinsey & Company, where he leads the North American Insurance Practice of the international consulting firm and co-chairs its Principal Review Committee. McGranahan has served as chair of the PSO’s Strategic Planning Committee and as member of its Executive Committee and CEO Search Committee.
