Members of the League of American Orchestras Americans are being offered a discount to the 2015 National Arts Marketing Project (NAMP) Conference, November 6-9 in Salt Lake City. The 2015 NAMP Conference brings together arts marketers from across the country to discuss the latest issues in marketing, earned income, audience development, social media, and new technologies. This event provides the tools to reach audiences, funders and partners in highly effective ways. The theme of this year’s NAMP Conference is Lift Off!, with a focus on ways arts marketers can boost their organization’s ability to tell their story and gain new audiences.

League members are eligible to receive a discount registration rate for the conference: now through 10/23, the rate is $510; on site, it is $535. To receive this discount, download and submit a registration form and write in the discount code, NAMPCSLC15. (Eligible registrations must be submitted via fax, mail, or email, as the discount cannot be applied to online registrations.)

In addition, the Utah Symphony marketing team invites League members attending the NAMPC conference to join them for the Friday, November 6 Utah Symphony performance at Abravanel Hall. The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. and features Mahler’s Symphony No. 5 and the premiere of Andrew Norman’s percussion concerto Switch with Colin Currie. If you can’t make the concert, catch up with the group afterwards. Email Jon Miles at jmiles@usuo.org or call 801-869-9021 for more information.
