The Tucson (Ariz.) Symphony Orchestra has named THOMAS J. McKINNEY vice president of development. Most recently the president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Minnesota, McKinney has more than 30 years of experience in fundraising, strategic development, and implementation at nonprofit organizations. A native of New England, he has lived in Tucson since the 1980s, when he worked as the cast manager for Up with People. McKinney holds a bachelor’s degree from Saint Anselm College (Manchester, N.H.) and a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Capella University in Minneapolis.
