The Chautauqua Institution in western New York State has announced that ROSSEN MILANOV’s contract as music director of the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra has been extended for two years, through the 2019 summer season. He has held the post since October 2014, and is also music director of the Columbus (Ohio) Symphony Orchestra, the Princeton (N.J.) Symphony Orchestra, and Spain’s Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias.
