The New York Youth Symphony is scheduled to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight, with American Ballet Theatre and ABT Principal Dancer Misty Copeland. The program airs on ABC at 11:35pm ET. Next month, the New York Youth Symphony’s 53rd season is set to open at Carnegie Hall, with Music Director Joshua Gersen leading Strauss’s Till Eulenspiegel, Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite, Gershwin’s An American in Paris, and the world premiere of Gabriella Smith’s Lost Coast, featuring cellist Gabriel Cabezas as soloist. The NYYS performs two further 2015-16 season programs at Carnegie Hall in March and May.
