The Chicago Symphony Orchestra has announced a two-year extension of cellist YO-YO MA’s contract as Judson and Joyce Green Creative Consultant. The post, held by Ma since its establishment in 2010, is designed to foster community engagement by the CSO both at home and on tour, through programs at Symphony Center as well as in such venues as prisons, schools, hospitals, community centers, churches, special-needs facilities, and orphanages.
