KATHRYN BEZELLA has been named vice president of external affairs and patron engagement at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Most recently director of strategy and communications at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Bezella has served as interim director of MBA admissions at Wharton and as a member of the school’s Admissions and Financial Aid Office, where she directed marketing and communications and oversaw women’s recruitment. Bezella is a graduate of Barnard College, where she was a recipient of Columbia University’s Dolan Prize in Musical Performance, and earned a graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
