The deadline is January 7 to apply for the Eugene Symphony’s Play It Again! Adult Chamber Ensembles program. The program is open to amateur musicians age 18 and above. Formal auditions are not required, but applicants must play for orchestra staff on January 9 so that chamber groups can be determined with balanced experience levels. Musicians in the program receive coaching sessions with Eugene Symphony musicians, and ensemble will perform on May 17 at First Christian Church in downtown Eugene, Oregon. There is a $65 participation fee, and partial scholarships are available for oboe, trombone, bassoon, and viola.
