Five orchestras will perform in the annual Bay Area Youth Orchestra Festival, set for January 16 at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco. The San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra will serve as host orchestra, and will be joined by the El Camino Youth Symphony from Palo Alto, the Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra, and the Young People’s Symphony Orchestra from Berkeley. Conductors also featured on the program include Jindong Cai (El Camino Youth Symphony); Ann Krinitsky (Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra); Omid Zoufonoun (Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra); David Ramadanoff (Young People’s Symphony Orchestra); and Donato Cabrera (San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra).
